i m little bit confused about my carrier ,which engineering should i do to secure my future.from which of this i should opt ptu, niit,iT..

i have passed 12th with 55% marks from kv may i eligible for engg.

I want to do the btech but Iam so confused in choosing the branch.so can you give any suggion for me?

in 12th i have secured 83% and i want to do engg ..i want to know which branch is good and which branch is in more demand in the coming four -5 years....
and i m interested in all branches
1)mech
2)ec
3)civil
4)com
5)it
4)chemical
and i also want to know that the priority should i give for the conceling.......

The evergreen branch whose scope will never fade away...the scope is so immense that mechanical guys end up getting fat pay cheques with 2 or 3 jobs in their hand by the time they graduate

In all the above branches one should opt for ECE generally.
Because the electronics field is ever green and it touches the CSE subjects and mechanical labs too. All the software companies gives priority to ECE students rather than CSE students. The main reason is that in INDIA most software companies are service oriented companies and they can get projects related all fields so they prefer ECS students. And if you are interested in core side you can get jobs in core companies easily. ECE students can join Government sector by the exam IES which for Engineer posts in Government sector.
The next choice will be MEC, it is also offering lots of jobs in industry side
The next choice would be CSE and then IT.
Chemical is also a live field but the problem with this is that in INDIA there are limited opportunities. If you have any idea to go abroad then Chemical will be a better option.

ece is the best branch now.because every problem related to ece even cse,it,some chance to related to eee.this is the best one in these days.it not will be fall 2 or 3years also.

It all depends on your interest
Rest mechanical has the best scope...the reason being so much investment is put into industry in order to help it grow and it employs the largest section of people in India
Industries that it includes varies from steel to boilers to power plants to automobiles everything
Mechanical was,is and will always be the best branch

I think ECE is the best option for you as it have both option of gov job and private job this branch is really helpful in IES /BSNL/BHEL<BEL ETC>

Sir, iam a 2 passed out student with 80% in science stream. Now i have decided to join a college for Btech. But Iam in a confusion of selecting a branch. Iam very much interested in computers and IT field. But everyone arund me, including my parents are advising me not to take cse or IT as a branch. Is the scope for IT industry has vanished for ever? But iam a little bit intersted in electronics too. But iam for most interested in computers. Will i have to stay unemployed after completing my btech in cse or IT? plz reply me ........ I need a very important reply.. becoz the date for choosing a banch is limited for me.

YA this is a quit good branch.This is the core branch and has various opportunity many of the sectors including CSE & and other competative exams.

Ans:-For choosing a branch you have to consider first thing is your interest.
now i want to tell you that ece and mechanical are good branches they are evergreen branches you can find government and private jobs in these branches.
