Eligiblity Creteria - If you have a bacholar degree and your age is between 21-30 years, then you are eligible for IAS exams. If you have a general cadidates, then you can apply four times in this exams and if you are belong to OBC candidates, then you can apply seven times in IAS examination. Following are the details of IAS Exam You will need to write civil service exam conducted by UPSC. The minimum academic qualification required to write the exam is a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. You should have attained the age of 21 years and should not be over 30 years. They will have to produce the proof of passing the requisite examination with their application for the Main Examination.

IAS exam is a civil service exam, which is conducted by UPSC every year.. You can apply for IAS exam on-line.. For that you have to go to the official website of UPSC.. If you want to apply for IAS exam through off-line, then go to your nearer post-office and purchase a application form for IAS exam.. And after filling the application form you have to sent it with the necessary documents to the address , which is mention in the advertisement.. Eligibility for IAS exam:- 1.The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.. 2.The candidate should not have any pending backlogs during the graduation. 3.The candidate must be a citizen of India.. Age eligibility:- 1.The age should be in between 21-30 years.. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.. These are the eligibility criteria for IAS exam.. So, go for it.. All the best.. |

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS EXAM :- Educational Qualifications for IAS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Eligibility For IAS According to the UPSC guidelines..the following students can appear for the Civil Service Exams :- 1) The candidate must be a graduate degree holder from any stream from a recognized college in India.. 2) The candidate should be withing the age limit of 21-30 years for general category..less than 33 years for OBC category and less than 35 years for SC/ST.. maximum of number of attempts for general category is 4, for OBC it is 7 and the SC/ST candidates can give the exam till the age permits.. there will be 2 rounds.. 1) Prelims :- this round has 2 papers and tests your aptitude,general knowledge and current affairs.. 2) Mains :- if you clear the prelims then you will have to clear the mains..here your knowledge of your graduation subjects will be tested.. if you clear this round then you will have to qualify in the interview for selection.. all the best and work hard.. ~Hope this helps.. ~ With Warm Regards "Nitz" |
