IAS exam after Btech in IT?
sir,i have a question.i am a student of IT engineering of 4th semester.can I apply for IAS exam in future????if yes please tell me the way to prepare for the IAS exam...please reply me in detail....

It is possible of preparation IAS With your course because it is one of your subjects in IAS preparation If you are interested prepare for other subjects from now on words Its become easier . |

yes you can apply for IAS exam in future as the education qualification required is just graduation with 60% marks but there is no subject concerning your field of IT in IAS exam but yes you can opt for some other subjects and give the exam by preparing it..

Yes you can give the exam of i.a.s exam in future........when you will be in 8th semester then at that time. You can fill the form, And if you are from general category then you will get 5 chance for this.. And the best way for preparation is strong your general knowledge and current affairs. Also ..there is no any departmental paper of IT in IAS exam, So select the paper in which you have more strong. And prepare that chapter from right now. O k All the best\ |

for better preparation you have to join a coaching institute providing good coaching for the particular exams a lot of hard work is needed from your side as well best of luck |

yes you can give the ias exam, in fact any graduate in India can give the exam,but let me tell its the toughest exam in India and you have to prepare really hard for it,
and some times it takes more than one attempt to crack it so all the best |

there is a provision for IAS exam after B.tech in IT.you have to follow the syllabus just the same as mentioned for CSE engineer.it is conducted By UPSC government and is toughest competitions. do work hard. all the best. |

send me the list of subjects which i can adopt.I have learned biology well and iam strong in this field but iam doing B.tech in I.T (7TH SEm) can i take the subjects of my interest as i have done my 12th with both math & biology so can i take the biological subjects.

yes you are eligible for this exa,
the any grauate can give the upsc exam for the UPSC. but there is no any departmental subjects in the ias exam for the IT so you have to chose the other subjects from the subject listed in the exam, |

after b.tech in IT,you are eligible to write IAS exam. but remember that you must have 60% in b.tech. when you are in final year of b.tech,you can start preparation to that exam. because competetion is more in now a days. all the best. god bles you. |

you can take preparation for IAS exam.you know it is most prestigious job in India. after completion of your Btech course, you can appear in IAS exam. but the problem is that there have not IT syllabus in IAS exam. so you have to choose other subject. best of luck...... |

Hi, You need to appear for UPSC CSE Examination to become an IPS officer. First of all, YOu should be a graduate from a recognised university which is a formost criteria. Do apply for the CSE Exam; Notification appears in the month of December in Employment news. Application in Jan and Examination in May. Surely, you can apply for IAS exam in future. Though the minimum educational qualification required for appearing in IAS exam is that the candidate should hold a bachelors degree with 60% marks but final year students can also apply subject to obtaining degree within the prescribed time. If you are confident of yourself then you can crack IAS exam by self study otherwise you can take help of coaching institutes. Selection of right books & study materials is the key to success in IAS exam |

why not,obviously u can give IAS exam after b.tech in IT. u must follow jobs & exam related newspaper like employment news.from where u can get ur information .or u may follow IAS exam related magazine from where u can get ur total information.to prepare for IAS i suggest u that u must take IAS related coaching under any institution.or u may buy IAS related book for IT from market from where u get ur total information. so take decission & make ur bright future. good luck. |

Well it seems that you have done well in 10th as compared to 12th.Yes you can appear for IAS exam even though you have gap between your 12 and B.Tech for 3 years.There is no problem and you are eligible.All you need is that you need to have degree certificate from a recognized college.You can appear for it. You can appear for this exam and the eligibility criteria is that you need to have Bachelor's degree of a recognized with at least one of the subjects namely animal husbandry and veterinary science,Botany,chemistry,geology,mathematics,physi cs,statistics and zoology or a bachelor's degree in agriculture,forestry or in engineering.The won't matter.you can apply for. Yes you can appear for IAS exam after B.Tech.Its good that you have made up your mind to appear for this exam.Well the course will depend upon you.If you feel that you can make it through this exam without any coaching that you can prepare it on your own and appear for it.If not then it will be better for you to take up some course related to this exam and try to make it at one go only.
