For Indian Naval Academy - Degree in Engineering.

For Air Force Academy - Degree of Recognized University With Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level Or Bachelor of Engineering.


So, After Completing Your B.com, You Are Eligible To Apply for CDS Exams. So, Please Complete Your Degree First Only Then You Are Eligible.

The minimum age limit for the IMA and OTA, Naval Academy and Air force Academy is given below:

1.For IMA
19 - 24 years

2.For OTA
19 - 25 years

3.For NA
19 - 22 years

4.For AFA
19 - 23 years
So if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to appear for the CDS exam ok.

for apply for CDS exam ,conducted by UPSC every years.
you must have complete your graduation in any stream for ARMY WING WITHIN THE AGE LIMIT OF (19-24)
for apply for naval & air wing you must have to complete your b.tech\be\ bsc with maths physics with at least 60%.

sir i have done 2 from non med and now i am doing b.com my d.o.b is 20/03/93 can i give cds exam

for apply in this exam you have to complete your graduation in any stream.this exam is conducted by UPSC every years.you can apply for any one wing , that i have mentioned here....

Hello all.... I am very clear on the age limit for the o.t.a. being 25. But the c.d.s. (i) 2012 examination ad' that was published in the employment news dated 29 oct. - 4 nov. clearly mentions age limit for the o.t.a. born not earlier than 2nd jan. 1988 and not later than 1st jan 1994. My d.o.b. is 09.08.1988 and am going 2 receive my degree next year in december. So I am planning to sit for the c.d.s. (ii) exam 2012. Will i still be eligible for the exam and also can anybody please clarify the difference between the age limits of the o.t.a. and the c.d.s. Because its my understanding that the only way into the o.t.a. is through the c.d.s. examination. Thank you and all the best to everyone aspiring to join the Indian military...Godspeed

In CDS exam you apply for I.M.A.(Indian Military academy) , O.T.A.(Official training academy) , Indian naval academy , Indian Air force academy .
CDS exam eligibility
For Indian Military academy and Official training academy : Degree from a recognized university.
For Indian naval academy : Bachelor of engineering and B.Sc with physics and mathematics.
For Indian Air force academy : Bachelor of engineering and Degree from a recognized university with physics and mathematics at 12 level .
Age limit for CDS exam
For Indian military academy : 19 to 24 year.
For Official training academy : 19 to 25 year.
For Indian naval academy : 19 to 22 year.

Indian Military Academy (IMA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream
Officers Training Academy (OTA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream
Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH
Indian Navy - BE/BTECH

I am studying Diploma in Electronics and Communication a course of 3 years offered by Board of Technical Education. Diploma is considered as equivalent to 10 2 and for 2nd year engineering course admissions will be allowed. Will I be permitted to write CDS Exam?
