Sir, i want to know that for the post of IPS Officer what is the age limit, and in which month the vacancies come out. Plz sir give me the ans fast. it is not an order but a request.

I.P.S stands for the Indian Police Service and it is one of the higher post in the India. There is no special examination for the IPS as there is common examination for the IAS, IPS, IFS etc...

The examination is conducted by the UPSC as the Civil Services examination. The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-

* Candidate must have passed the graduation from the recognised university.
* Candidate age must be between 21-30 years and relaxation of three years for the OBC and five for the SC/ST candidate.

The examination is conducted in three stages and it is necessary to qualify in all the stages for the selection.

The vacancy for the examination are released in the month of June and the examination are conducted in the month of August for the first stage.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IPS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

Important date for Civil Service exam:-

Starting date of online application – 23rd May 2015

Last date of online application – 19th June 2015

Date of prelims exam – 23rd August 2015

Probable date of mains examination – December 2015

For becoming IAS officer you have to crack Civil Services examination which is conducted by UPSC every year.

For Civil Services examination you must have following qualification:------------

Graduation in Any discipline from a recognized university.

Age should be between 21 to 30 years if you are General Category candidate.

There is age relaxation available based on the category to which the candidate belong i.e SC/ST have 5 years age relaxation and OBC have 3 years age relaxation .

The number of attempts for Civil Services exams is as follows for various categories:

General Category- 4 number of attempts

OBC Category- 7 number of attempts

SC/ST Category- Unlimited number of attempts

let me first tell you the eligibility of the Indian Administrative Exam(IAS) because then it would become clear that whether you are eligible for the exam or not.

So, the eligibility conditions goes as below-

1. Graduation from any recognized university of India

2. Age limit- 21 to 30 years as on 1st August of the year in which exam is conducted.

3. India Citizen

The notification comes around in the month of May-JUNE.
Since this year the last date has already been passed which was June 12, so you cannot apply for the exam this year.
