There is no maximum age limit to apply for company secretary course. To be eligible, all you need is to have qualified +2 level of exam in any stream. Being a graduate you will have advantage of registering directly for the Second stage of the course, which is known as Executive Program, and is followed by the Professional Program. +2 qualified candidates have to enroll for the Foundation program, which is followed by Executive Program and Professional Program.

WHAT SALARY CAN I EXPECT AFTER CLEARING EXECTUIVE PROGRAMME ?

FRIEND,

Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is the institute which is responsible for conducting exams for the COMPANY SECRETARY COURSES.

To apply for these courses you have to be eligible for the CS courses and that eligibility criteria is:

1)You must be a 12th passed candidate from any recognized Board.

2)If you are in the 12th class then also you are eligible to appear for the CS courses.

3)Candidates from any stream like SCIENCE or COMMERCE or ARTS(Including Fine arts) are eligible to appear for the exam.

Through this you will be allowed in the FOUNDATION PROGRAMME and there are three stages for this and they are:

1)FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
2)EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME
3)PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME

You have to clear all these courses and undergo practical training to become a qualified COMPANY SECRETARY.

1) English and Business Communication (EBC)
2) Economics and Statistics (E&S)
3) Financial accounting (F&A)
4) Elements of Business Laws and Management (EBLM)

Executive Programme Papers:

1) General and Commercial Laws (GCL)
2) Company Accounts, Cost & Management and Accounting (CACMA)
3) Tax Laws (TL)
4) Company Law (CL)
5) Economic and Labour Laws (E & LL)
6) Securities Laws and Compliances (SL&C)

Professional Programme Papers:

MODULE I:

1) Company Secretarial Practice
2) Drafting, Appearances and Pleadings

MODULE II:

1) Financial, Treasury and Forex Management
2) Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency

MODULE III:

1) Strategic Management, Alliances and
International Trade
2) Advanced Tax Laws and Practice

MODULE IV:

1) Due Diligence and Corporate Compliance
Management
2) Governance, Business Ethics and Sustainability

Dear friend,

Salary will vary from company to company within a range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 per annum depending upon the various factors like load of work and your capability of the company secretary.

Salary also depend on cities, in metro cities atleast Rs. 4 lacs per annum and in Non-metro cities Rs. 3 lacs per annum.

There is no upper age limit to take up company secretary course,
If you are in the 12th class then also you are eligible to appear for the CS courses.

There is no upper age limit to apply for the Company Secretary course.
Even if you are 29 years old you can apply to the Company Secretary course.

Since you are a Graduate , you will get admission in the Executive Level.
Fees for the Executive Level is 7750/-

Minimum duration to complete is 12 months

There are 7 papers that you have to give in the ICSI Executive level
