Your educational qualification is ok for Civil Services Examination but your age might
not be in the permissible age limit for Civil Services Examination. The permissible age limit for CSE is, 21-30 years for GEN category candidates. The upper age is relaxed by 3 years for OBC category candidates. 5 years for SC/ST/PH category candidates. 5 years for those who had ordinarily been domiciled in J&K between 1980-1989. 3 years for Defence Services personnel disabled on some specific duty 5 years for ECOs/SSCOs who have completed at least 5 years. 10 years for Blind, Mute - Deaf orthopaedically handicapped candidates. If you fall in any of the above mentioned privilege category in which permissble age limit is 35 years or more then you could be eligible for the exam. |

As you have not mentioned your category so it would be difficult to give you proper answer for the same but if your category is general then Sorry to say but you are over aged so not eligible for both exams and if you are from other category (ST/SC/Reserve) then you have some chances to apply.
Have a look, Eligibilty of IAS exam: For this exam you must have graduate degree in any stream from recognised university. Age should be minimum 21 and maximum 30 years for general categories. Relaxation for obc is 3 year and for sc/st is 5 year. In IAS exam only four attempts for general, for obc 7 attempts and no limit for sc/st. Fee for general candidate is Rs. 100 only. No fee for sc/st/pd. Eligibility of IPS exam: You must be 21 years (minimum) and 30 years (maximum) at the time of taking exam. SC/ST/OBC and ex-servicemen are given exemption of 3 to 5 years in maximum age limit. People belonging to general category can appear for IPS exam four times, while OBCs can appear for seven times but no limit has been set for SC/ST. keep in mind, even appearing in just exam is counted as an attempt. Thanks..... |

we are sorry but now you are not eligible for any cse exams. because in cse exams fix agr requirement are given as:
The permissible age limit for CSE is, 21-30 years for GEN category candidates. The upper age is relaxed by 3 years for OBC category candidates. 5 years for SC/ST/PH category candidates. 5 years for those who had ordinarily been domiciled in J&K between 1980-1989. 3 years for Defence Services personnel disabled on some specific duty 5 years for ECOs/SSCOs who have completed at least 5 years. 10 years for Blind, Mute - Deaf orthopaedically handicapped candidates. If you fall in any of the above mentioned privilege category in which permissible age limit is 35 years or more then you could be eligible for the exam. so,be positive,i thinkl you should prepare for pcs level exams. |
