No, MBA Candidates are not eligible for GATE Examination, To apply for GATE Examination you have to fulfill these Eligibility Criteria :

~~ You have to complete your 4 Years Graduate degree course in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture from a recognised University

OR

~~ You Must have completed your Master degree course in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent from a recognised University.

You are From MBA Background, So You are Not eligible for GATE Examination.

To apply for GATE, you have to fulfill any one the Eligibility. This examination is conducted every year and for this year examination was already completed and the Result was also Declared.

So, You are Not eligible for GATE Examination after completing your MBA. For more information check official website :

the one who completed professional course engg can eligible to attend gate exam other especially arts stream persons or

Hi,
i am sorry to say that MBA candidates are not eligible to GATE exam.


GATE stands for graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The candidates will be given admission for M.tech. This exam conducted once in a year.


Eligibility Criteria:

the candidate should have completed graduation on Engineerin with any stream.

Candidate who are pursuing final year of graduation course in Engineering can also apply for this exam.

Candidate who are pursuing prefinal year of Engineering course are not eligibility to apply for this exam.

There is no age criteria to appear for this exam.

One can apply for this exam at any age if he fulfill the require academic criteria.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for GATE exam.
