UPSC conduct NDA &NAE examination twice in a year but only non-medical students who secure not less than 60% marks in 10+2 are eligible for this examination, a arts or commerce students are not eligible for this examination. if you want to apply for this exam i suggest you to do your higher secondary level with PCM. Re: Am I Eligible for NDA Exam?
dear friend,
I appreciate your dreams about NDA, but sorry to say there are no any scope for the commerce student. For NDA, a candidate must belong to PCM in +2 standard along with the age must be between 16 1/2 -19 years. You are doing maths outside your course, it is good but it will not help you to be eligible in NDA. good luck. |

Re: Am I Eligible for NDA Exam?
As you are in NCC so you can join some other fields related to police like civil defence etc as a hobby. But to make career in NDA you must be from science stream. So either you can join a correspondence study or to be a regular student to fulfill your dreams if really interested in it.To get in touch with maths is a good indication and a healthy sign for you.

to hear this , good dude, by the way do you have it in you , you will find this poster every where in ssb (bhopal, alahabad, and banglore), now you are not eligible because the age limit does't allow you to write the NDA exam now, wait for one more year to go and then when you will be in 12, you will be more experienced with your maths subject that you are preparing for , NDA exams conducted by upsc twice a year, you have more chaches to crack this, and no compulsion about maths as compulsory subject in 12 or 11. best of luck.. |

Re: Am I Eligible for NDA Exam?
Yes, you can appear for NDA exam after passing the class 12 exams.
However, for Navy, you must have physics and maths as your subjects. However, you do not have them as stated by you. So you cannot apply for Air Force or Navy. So you can still appear for the NDA exam and apply for the army wing. For more details, visit: www.upsc.gov.in |
