NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted two times every year by UPSC as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The minimum age of entry in to NDA is 16.5 years and maximum age of entry is 19 years and there is no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate. So if you are already crossed 19 years, then you will not be eligible to apply for NDA.

The eligible candidate being an Male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good Physical and Mental health, is eligible to apply for NDA.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings-Indian Air Force ,Indian Navy and Indian Army.The details of NDA exam is given below-

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

If your age now 19 years old then you are not applicable for NDA Exam

The selection procedure for NDA exam are Written Examination ,Medical Test ,Physical Test , Personnel Interview

Pattern for Written NDA exam is given below-

Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)
