UPSC Stands for Union Public Service Commission And UPSC Conducts Many Examination Like IAS, IPS, SCRA, NDA, CDS And IES Examination.

And IAS ( Indian Administration Service ) Examination was conducted by UPSC Every Year, So IAS is a Part of UPSC Examination Because This examination was conducted by UPSC every Year as a name of Civil Services Examination.

The examination was held 2 times in a year, So If you are Interested to become IAS Officer, then for this you have to apply for UPSC Civil services Examination.

So, You Cant Differentiate UPSC and IAS examination Because IAS is a part of UPSC. UPSC is a Authority because they will conducts all these examination like IAS, IPS, IFS, NDA, CDSE, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of IT & Communication.

So, Union Public Service Commission in India is an autonomous body that conducts examinations for various government sector jobs in India. So please visit the UPSC Official website for Complete information -

UPSC or Union Public Service Commission

is the central government organization responsible for

conducting exams and related processes for filling up recruitments

in various central government posts

like

IPS>>.the police service

IRS >>>>the revenue service

Armed forces posts >>> through NDA

While IAS on the other hand is only one such post which is filled by

UPSC through the CSE civil services examination, however it is the most estimed

one and is also the most wanted as it is the route for the most lucrative government

job with godlike powers.
