Educational Qualification:-

You Must hold a degree of any Discipline from any Recognized University.

Age Limits:-

Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.(This is For IAS 2011 & For Next year Exam it will be different )

Attempts:-
For General Category :- only 4 times.
For SC/ST:- Any Time under the Above age Limits.
For OBC:- Only 7 times.

Few More details:-

For Example :- IPS is Indian Police Service which is an Entry through Civil Service Exam mode.

If you clear the Civil Service Exam then you will be called for Next Level which is Interview, if you clear it again. Then you will be An IPS Officer.

In order to become ips officer you have to crack CSAT Exam.

To appear in the WBCS, IPS and IAS examination you need the following eligibility criteria :

Educational Qualification = Graduation in any stream from a recognize University.

Age Limit = For IAS and IPS examination the age must be between 21 to 30 year at the time of appearing of this examination and for the WBCS examination the age must be between 21 to 32 years at the time of appearing of this examination.

The age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category.

Selection Procedure = The selection procedure for WBCS, IAS and IPS exam:
1) Preliminary examination.
2) Main examination.
3) Personal Interview.

IAS and IPS examination comes under Civil Services examination while WBCS comes under West Bengal Civil services examination. Civil Services examination is conducted by UPSC in every year where as the WBCS examination is conducted by the Public Service Commission of West Bengal.

Dear Aspirant,
if you have completed Bachelors degree from Recognized university,and you must read and write in Bengali you are eligible for WBCS (West Bengal Civil Services).

IAS and IPS are also you are eligible when you studies bachelor degree in recognized university

WBCS Age limits
Age limits for eligibility is as follows as you have not less than 21 and not more than 32 years on the 1st january of the year of examination.

IPS or IAS age limits

21-30 years age must with the date exam conducted year 1-August -conducted year


if you want to become an IAS or IPS office you must Crack the preliminary exam
it have two papers those are first one is general studies second one is CSAT
after that if you are qualified then you are eligible for civils mains
after that interview.

for WBCS ,IAS and IPS all of the above job have criteria is graduation.

the age limit of above mention exam is maximum 28 years.

you have just completed your BCA degree so you are graduate.

as per my knowledge you are eligible for above entrance exam.

Yes ofcorse these fields are evergreen that any one can apply for this job but you have to clear various steps:
1 A very important stepi.e, a written test.
2 Age limits:21 to 30 years
3 Educational qualifications:Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Chemistry,Mathematics,Physcs.
4 General awareness and aptitude test.

Now you are eligible for these fields so that you can get a good job with higher knowledge...

A graduate from any stream are eligible to appear for civil service exams. There is no standard set for the stream of study and neither any standards have been set for percentage of marks. But since you have enough time, you must work hard to score good marks. You should also keep yourself updated regarding the syllabus of civil service exam. You must start preparing for the exam along with your bachelor programmer. You must work hard in subjects like general studies and English to do well in civil service and other similar exams.

Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district Darjeeling i.e. forNepali speaking candidates.

Yes you are eligible by your degree, but you need to fulfill the below criteria also:

(i) Age limits :

21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories.

(ii) Educational Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification.

You are eligible for IPS Examination, So If you are interested to become IPS officer then for this you have to apply for UPSC Civil services examination and to apply for this examination you must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for IPS Examination.

Yes you can be a WBCS/IAS/IPS officer.

For that you just need to be graduate in any discipline and from a recognised university.
For wbcs: You need to have the ability to read,write and speak bengali also.

For ias/ips:Nationality must be indian.

Age:Must be between 21-30years on 1st january when giving the exam. Upper age relaxation for OBC,SC/ST candidates.
