The candidates who are aspiring to apply for IPS exam must be physically as well as medically fit. So, being a asthma person you are not eligible for IPS exam.

IPS (i.e) Indian Police Service exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for every year.

IPS Eligibility Criteria:-

• Applicants must be an Indian Citizens or Citizens of Bhutan, or Citizens of Nepal.
• Applicants should have completed their bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
• Final year applicants are also eligible.
• In case these applicants qualify the written examination then they have to submit the proof of their results which should clearly depict that they hold a bachelors degree.
• Applicants age should not be more than 30 years and not less than 21 years. Age relaxation will be upper age of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, Ex-Servicemen candidates will be granted age relaxation as per Govt. directives.
• Applicants selection will be based on written test and physical/medical test.
