Yes Manish
Happy news for you .
You are eligible for UPSC Civils exam as a B.Sc IT Graduate

The basic eligibility criteria for any aspirant is as follows:-
->The aspirant must be a graduate in any trade from a recognized University of India.
->The aspirant of civils must have 21 years of minimum age.

the candidate must not exceed 30 years of age in case of general.
if OBC then eligible to appear till 33 years.
if SC/ST then the candidate is eligible till 35 years of age.

so there is one thing clear here graduation done in any engineering stream are eligible to apply
one more thing I want to clear you is upto my knowledge there is no minimum cutoff for the enrollment of the examination.

For your information I will also tell some information about Civil s examination pattern.

the pattern of the examination is of three levels.

level 1 you will try to screened out by using a entrance exam called Civil service aptitude test. which is recently replaced by the traditional prelims examination.

level 2 is the eligible candidates of Level 1 are called for mains examination which is level 2 you have to clear this to get gate pass for next level.
as in the level 2 you have to select the optional subjects . But whereas you will not have the optional option because the degree which is done by you is related to computers so there is no need of computer science engineering. but don't worry no need to get panic you can select what ever subject you like .

the next level here is

Level 3 it is the level in which the candidates are coming from Level 2 . In this level the candidates are interviewed personally and assessed there itself .

this is the complete pattern of the examination.

all the best for your preparation .

Regards

Dear friend,

There are so many exams are included in UPSC. like IFS ,IAS ,IPS ,SCRA ,NDA etc.

Those are graduate are applicable for civil service exam.

But your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provide 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidate.

So if you want to apply for civil service exam you can visit upsc own website.
