Among the various branches of Engineering, most of the branches are suitable for both boys and girls.

Now-a-days, girls can also do all those hard work that a boy can do.

They are in no way inferior to boys.

Girls can any join branch of engineering that they want..........
But still people say that some branches are not suitable for girls.....but it depends upon that person who is doing the course.

If she is able to handle all the pressure and tasks, then nothing is impossible and so there will be no specific branches for boys and girls separately.

So always go for that stream in which you are interested, no matter whether that branch is suitable for girls or not.

i think for girls.....E.E or E.C will hold a promising future also it is exhilarating............all the best..but i will suggest u to choose E.E or E.C however many people will be against u but trust me....it really holds a wealthy future for girls rather than civil or any which r good fields but r not optable for girls..i too opted for E.E and now m in very very good post..

is there any scope of mechenical branch for girls????

there is no limitation for girls in engg.
the best suitable branche for the girls is IT.
IT is information technology which is the best for girls.

so, this is the main thing is that the girls have a sweet voice, which is very essential in the IT branch.

I guess in 12th your subjects were PCM+Biology ..If it was so then yes you can study Computer science engg...Its not necessary to have computer as your main subject in order to get computer science branch...
So theres nothing to worry....be relaxed..
And yes,..do see the eligibility criterias for different colleges as well..

hi kasak its really a big scratch in girls mentality that there may be any kind of limitation for girls in any field,,,
engineering is very good field for having a reputed job and it doesn't include any kind of silliness and is very safe for girls today all over the world many girs have introduced themselves as engineers, every branch of engineering has good scope and you are eligible for every field

ya sure u can apply any type of branch in engineering.there is no restriction for girls.but electrical,civil,mechenical branch not good for girls because the jobs for these engineers have field work.
so u can choose other branch
there are many options for u
1.computer science engineering
2.IT engineering
3.electronics and communication engineering
4.electronics and instrumentation engineering.

yes all the girls can apply for any branch in engineering and also special relaxation is provided for the girls in the engineering.
for girls the better branches are
IT AND CS OR ECE
because jobs on these branches are office work jobs like software company give work on the computer based.so girls can do jobs in officxe only so IT AND CS better for the girls

There is nothing like girls are not eligible for engineering fields. The only field which is not available for the girls to choose is the mining branch. But they can choose fields other than this. The number of girls choosing civil and mechanical engineering is less as field work is associated with there branches. The branch most of the girls choose is computer science, electronics and communication, and information technology.

Eligibility is not at all dependent on the sex of the candidate.

Girls are as likely to excel in a field as boys are.

So be prepared and prepare well. You may opt for branches like IT and CS for engineering.

ofcourse girls can opt for engineering course in any engineering colleges. at present girls are there in every field. so a girl can choose any stream in her engineering and get good job after completion of course.
according to me good branches for girls are:
computer science and engineering
information technology
electronics and communication engineering
electrical and electronics engineering
electronic and instrumentation engineering

the best choice according to me CSE and IT because only in software field brainwork is required being a girl choosing mechanical and going into high load jobs is difficult.

There is no any restriction for it and you asked about the best branch for girls then I would like to tell you now in present COMPUTER SCIENCE and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY are the the best branches for girls.
After it there are a lot of scope in ELECTRONICS and COMMUNICATION field.
