Your 12th standard marks is 55% so you are not applicable for SBI Clerk Exam .

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks OR completed graduation degree , are applicable for SBI Clerk exam.

Your age should be between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Even you are not applicable IBPS clerk Exam because IBPS Clerk exam want Diploma degree or graduation degree .

So first completed your graduation degree then you can apply in Bank PO and Clerk Exams .

There is a lot of confusion these days regarding if a 12th standard candidate can apply for the banking exam or not. The simple answer is no, you can't. It is because the Institute of Banking Personnel Services has recently changed the qualification criteria.

Now candidate should hold a graduation degree in order to apply for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam. Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) conducts the entrance exam for Clerk post on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks.

You will have to complete college education and obtain a graduation degree before applying for the Clerk post. There is no relaxation given to SC/ST or OBC on qualification criteria. Each candidate should have graduation degree.

Eligibility

1. Only candidates of Indian origin can apply.

2. Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized college.

3. There is no percentage requirement.

4. Diploma/Degree in Computers is also required. You can also apply having studied Computers/IT subject in high school or college.

5. Must be able to read and write the official language of state where you want to apply.

Age Limit

1. The age limit is 20 to 28 years with relaxation for reserve categories.

OBC - 3 years relaxation.

SC/ST - 5 years relaxation.

PWD - 10 years relaxation.

You cannot apply for the BANK CLERKS exams with just 12th Pass with 55% marks.
Now Bank Clerks Exams are conducted by IBPS and SBI

IBPS conducts exams on behalf of 20 Nationalised banks
SBI conducts bank clerks exams for its own bank

Eligibilty for the IBPS BANK CLERKS exams:
Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 28 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Eligibilty for the SBI BANK CLERKS exams:
12th pass with minimum 60% marks OR Graduation Pass
Age should be between 18 and 28 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

So, complete your Graduation and than apply for the Clerks Exams

Dear Friend,

Sorry to say but you cannot apply for the Bank Clerk Examinations if you do not have completed graduation fro any recognized university.

This is because of the latest amendments made by the IBPS in the eligibility criteria for Bank Clerical Exams.

Earlier the minimum educational qualification was 12th with a minimum of 50% marks but from october , 2012 , the minimum educational qualifications has changed to Graduation.

So , you have to complete your graduation first in whatever stream you want to be eligible for the Bank Clerical Exams.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

Eligibility For Bank Clerk Exams

Candidates appearing for the SBI and other bank clerk exams must have following qualifications to appear for the exam :-

>> Candidate must have completed 12th with an aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates)

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 18-28 years..3 years of upper age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST..

If you are not an SC/ST candidate then you are not eligible to appear for the bank clerk exams with your percentage..

you also have the option of appearing for IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) which is conducted for recruitment for candidates to 20 public sector banks..

For IBPS Bank Clerk exam..a candidate must satisfy the following conditions :-

so, for IBPS you need to first complete your graduation

Note :- There is no restriction on the percentage requirement..

Dear..

You are not Eligible for the exam as recently IBPS has changed the rules and now only graduates are eligible for the exam.

The Eligibility for the exam is as follows :-

1. You must be a graduate
2. Graduation from a recognized university
3. 21-30 Age limit
4. Relaxation to those who belong to OBC, ST OR SC.
5. No gender preference or subject preference

So earlier you were eligible as all 12th passed students where eligible but after the new guideline you are not at all eligible for the exam. But you can apply for the exam at a later stage as first you have to complete your graduation so focus more on that and after that think of competitive exams like IBPS.
