No, after 12th standard you can't apply to IPS exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IPS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

Number of Attempts:-

For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts

Physical fitness criteria for IPS exam:-

Height

For Men : 165 cm(AROUND)
For Women :150 cm(AROUND)

OBC /SC/ST :

Male:160 cm and female :145 cm

Chest

Male candidates-84 (+ 5cm).

Female candidates-79cm(+ 5cm).

Eye Sight

For Worse Eye :6/12 or 6/9 distant vision
For good Eye :6/6 or 6/9 distant vision

No, you are not eligible to apply for the IPS exam direct after completing your 12th.

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service. This exam is conducted under the civil service examination for those aspirants who want to become an IPS officer every year.

Candidates with at at least bachelor degree in hand are eligible to sit for this exam. As you have completed just your intermediates right now then, you are not eligible to apply for this exam.

Exam stages:

1. Preliminary exam,
2. Main exam and
3. Personal Interview

Age Criteria:

• Minimum age should be at least 21 years.
• Maximum age should not exist 30 years.
• Relaxation for OBC category up to 3 years.
• For SC/ST category up to 5 years.

Physical Requirement:

~~ Vision should be clear and candidates should be free from color blindness.
~~ Minimum 5 cm chest expansion.
~~ Height should be 165 Cm (Male candidates) and 150 Cm (Female candidates).

So, first of all complete your bachelor degree in any discipline then, you become eligible to apply for IPS exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service . The IPS examination are held Union Public Service Commission only once in a year .

Sorry friend you are not applicable for IPS exams after passing your 12th because the minimum qualifications required for this exam are here under:-

You must have done your graduation / an equivalent degree course with any stream of your liking from a recognized college and university .

You must have a citizenship of India .

Your age must be within 21 years to 30 years if you belong to general category otherwise there is provision of age relaxation for other categories as per government rule .
