i am a student of B-Tech pre final year.my branch is IT.can u suggest me for jobs in army?????????...can i apply for UES and CDS EXAM?????

You can apply UES exam but you are not eligible for CDS exam.
UES means University entry scheme.
-Candidate to Join Indian Army/Indian Air Force/Indian Navy through UES exam.
-Those candidate give the pre-final year B.Tech graduate is eligible for UES exam.
-Age limit between 19 to 25 years for UES exam.
-Candidate should be citizen of India.

CDS stands for Combined defense services. this exam is conduct by UPSC twice in a year.
candidate should be completed graduation

For IMA 19 to 24
For OTA 19 to 25
For NA 19 to 22

I'm currently in first year b.tech,
i wish to join IAF through CDS, My age is 20. Am i eligible?

UES is University Entry Scheme for pre final and final year Engineering students.

So if you are just in 1st year then you will not be eligible for UES .

For CDS Graduates are eligible or those who are in final year and expecting their result on time can apply.

The age limit for different Defence Academies are given below:

Indian Air Force Academy- 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy- 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy- 19 to 24 years

Officers Training Academy- 19 to 25 years

The selection will be purely based on merit . The marks obtained in following exams will be crucial for selection:

-Objective type paper

-SSB Interview

Those who pass above test with merit will undergo medical examination. If declared fit then will be send for the respective Academy for training.

The eligibility criteria required for given examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- 19-22 yrs for Indian Navy; 19-23 yrs for Indian Air Force; 19-24 yrs for Indian Military Academy; and 19-25 yrs for Officer's Training Academy.

Age between:- 19 and 25 yrs
Qualification:- Pre Final year students of Engineering Degree Course

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES

After passing B.Tech you can join Indian Army through C.D.S.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

You can apply in this exam in final year.

Age limit for this exam is :- 19-24 year.

There are three stage of selection:-
> Written
> Interview
> Medical exam
