Re: Can I become IPS or Railway officer?
Graduates in any stream can get in to the role of IPS Officer. There is no need to study any specific subject at 12th or graduation. Same qualification is applicable for the position of ASM or goods guard in railways. In order to join railways as Junior/Section Engineer, you should hold technical educational qualifications. Diploma/ engineering degree in streams of mechanical/electrical/electronics are suitable.
