No your not eligible for NDA Examination , Because you have not satisfy the Age Criteria .

To apply for NDA Examination your Age should in between 16 1/2 years to 19 years .{ ie:- You should Not Born earlier than 2 / July /1994 and Not Later than 1/ January / 1997 } , then Only your eligible to apply for this NDA Examination .

So, As per the Age Criteria your not eligible for NDA Examination .

NDA stands for National Defence and this Examination is conducted by the UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission) . This Examination is held twice in a year . This NDA Conduct Examination for Indian Army / Navy and Airforce academy .

If your aspiring to apply for this NDA Examination then you should Qualified in 12th Board Examination (or) Equivalent Course from recognized University . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination .

Any discipline Candidate may eligible to apply for Army academy , But to apply for Airforce / Navy academy then the candidate should Complete 12th standard in science with Physics and Mathematics as a Main Subject in 12th standard .

Important :- Pass Mark is enough to apply for this Examination .

Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years and there is no Upper age limit given for any candidates and You should be Citizen of India .

You should Unmarried male candidates . Female and Married male candidates are not eligible for NDA Examination .

You should be Physically as well as Medically fit for the NDA Examination .

So, as per the Eligibility Criteria your not eligible for NDA Examination .

If your interested in Defence Examination then you apply for CDS Examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Examination . To apply for this Examination then you should qualified in Bachelor degree from recognized University .

If you are exject 19 years so, you can For NDA [National Defence Academy and Naval Academy ]

An examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service

But you have to required following condition-

(i)-A candidate must either be a citizen of India
[ii]-Only unmarried male candidates

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in.


The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows :–

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY , the entrance exam for which is conducte by UPSC two times a year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The age for NDA is a vital eligibility criteria to apply.

The candidate should not borne earlier then 2nd July 1994 and not later then 1st January 1997 is eligible to apply for NDA which means the age should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

But as per your date of birth you are over 19 years of age and accordingly not eligible for NDA.

dear friend,
the main eligibility criterias of NDA EXAMS are:-
1->16.5 to 19 years of age.
2->eye sight should be 6/6.
so it seems as if you yet have a chance of meking it to the army,as you can give the exam of NDA the pattern of exam is as follows:-
1->general ability.
2->current affairs.
3->elementry maths.
so work hard and you can get through the nda 1st round and after that you have to face 5 days interveiw at various centers across india, if selected then sent for trianing.so all the best for future.

If you really want to join Indian Defence then you can apply after passing graduation with any stream.
For this you have to qualify the entrance exam lie:-
> C.D.S

C.D.S is Combine Defence Services.
C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

ELIGIBILITY FOR C.D.S EXAM:-
> Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university
> Age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year.
> You should be medically fit.
