Can I go for Merchant navy after passing 12th with Mathematics


i'm a 12th passout (with mathematics as a base subject)
and proceeding with my b.com from correspondence..
can i go for merchant navy..just now.....????
kindly provide your guidance asap.

Yes, you can go for Merchant Navy exam.

Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy exam-

Those candidates who have passed your 12th or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from central/state board or recognized school are eligible for Merchant navy exam.

Your age should be below 20 years.

Physical criteria:-

• Eye Sight = 6/6
• Height = 167 cms
• Weight = 50 Kg
• Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

Dear Aspirant ,

If you having Physics / Maths / Chemistry Subjects in 12th standard or Equivalent course then, your eligible to apply for Merchant Navy ,

You should qualified in 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination with Minimum 60% percentage of marks from recognized University

After completing 12th standard ,You may apply for Merchant Navy in one of the Department ,

~~ Deck
~~ Engine
~~ Catering

Phsyical Standards :-
---------------------

You should be Physically as well as medically fit . Your Minimum height should be 157cms for men and 152 cms for women with correlated weight .
You should not be color blind.
