i somnath ,want to know the process so that i can my career in indian defence arena,currently i m pursuing bca (final year, which is likely to complete within 3 monts) and passed my 12th from commerce stream and with maths as one of my main subject with 70 odd percent . and i also want to know what are the different pg courses that i can opt for other then MCA & MBA

Indian Defense after BCA

You can join Indian Air force, Army and Navy after the completion
of your graduation in BCA. Combined Defence Service Examination
(CDSE) is the entry scheme through which you can apply for
the Indian Army, Indian Air force and Indian Navy as an officer.

The eligibility required for the CDSE entry scheme is mentioned
below:

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Candidate applying for the CDSE exam should be graduate
in any discipline. Final year students can also apply for the
CDSE exam. Candidate applying for the CDSE exam should not
have any current backlog .

AGE LIMIT
Candidate applying for the CDSE exam should have
following age

For IMA 19 - 24

For NA 19 - 22

For AFA 19 - 23

For OTA 19 - 25

Which PG course after BCA?
According to my suggestion BCA or MBA is only the best option
for you. Doing PG in any other field makes no sense for you.
As you have a knowledge of computer so from my point of view
make your first choice MCA for PG.

So according to my point of view doing MCA is the right choice
as you are in touch of computer field so it makes no difficulty for
you if you do PG in this field.

Lets See how many modes are there to join Indian Army.

If you have Done Graduation with Bachelor's of Computer Application then Below are some Fields in which you can Apply for Only if you come under Age Limits i.e from 21 years to 24 years

One is CDSE i.e Combined Defense Services

For IMA i.e Indian Military academy age should be 19 years to 23 years of age. (For This you are Eligible in Educational Point of View)

For IAF i.e Indian Air force age should be 19 years to 23 years.
(Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.)

For Officer's training academy it should be 19 years to 25 years.
(Degree of a recognized University or Equivalent )

and last for Naval academy it should be 19 to 22 years.
(Degree in Engineering)


Second is SSC (NT) (men) (including Non-tech Specialist and JAG Entry)

Its better to Go with Master of Business administration, rather than opting for MCA.

because In Today's era MBA is known to be Bigger field in earning. If you want to earn more then Go for MBA.

But if you want to have more knowledge on computer Application then Go for MCA. But Go only with Interests.

i born in 1991 so can i join cds,ota,na,iaf and at present i am bca 1year student so plese give right information about these thing because defence is my dream.........
my qualification is 10pass with 72%
and 12 pass with 65% group is pcm

Iam doin my sy BCA and I had done physics and maths in 12th std so I want to know what kind of job would I be eligible to get a job in IAF???

you can apply in private sector but there are very less chance that you will get the placement,as the BCA degree is not really considered as enough for the software job,it only counts well for those who wants to complete their master's in computer application i,e MCA.So,it is difficult but you can try for jobs in the private sector or better to increase your chances go for MCA,

In the government job you can apply in the

BANK
RAILWAYS
AIR FORCE
ARMY
NAVY

After completing BCA even you can apply for IAS,IPS exams
