Re: Colleges which take admission on the basis of 12th percentage?
according to fee structure my suggestion is not taking admission in private but you don't want further study then take admission in any well-known private college according their placement.if you want to do master then don't take admission in private.

Re: Colleges which take admission on the basis of 12th percentage?
Firstly you need to mention that what course do you want to apply after completing 12th. If you are looking to pursue BA, B.Com and B.Sc then apply to colleges in Delhi University where admission is given on the basis of 12th percentage.
You may have heard that Delhi University (DU) colleges are very prestigious. Therefore you can seek admission in these colleges. However you should understand that even with 85 percent marks in 12th board, you may have to struggle to find admission in good college in DU for your favorite course. I say this because the cut off list of top colleges in DU generally starts from 98 percent. It could even go to 100 percent on some occassions. Although its not just Delhi University, but various other colleges in the country offer admission for BA, B.Com and B.Sc course without having to appear in entrance exam. However if you are interested in Engineering or Medical study then I am afraid that you will have to appear for the entrance exam. The admission for these two any many other courses is done on the basis of entrance exam. In engineering ISEET is the common entrance exam while for medical, NEET is the exam that you will have to give. Although there are colleges who will offer you admission on the basis of merit but only if your percentage is in mid 90s. With 85 percent marks, you will find it difficult to get direct admission. However there is an option of admission through management quota by offering donation. But as you may know that this is quite an expensive affair. A medical seat is sometimes sold for 1 crore which is unaffordable for many. Besides you should understand that direct admission on merit or through donation is only given in private colleges. If you want admission in govt medical or engineering college that you must have to appear for the entrance exam. |
