Eligible Merchant Navy course
Unmarried male and female Students are eligible .
Students who have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for Merchant Navy course.
For SC/ST Students 25 years is maximum age , these categories are given relaxation of five years.
Age requirement is not more than 20 years.

There is a lot of difference between Merchant and Indian Navy and the basic difference between indian navy and merchant navy is that merchant navy is for Transporting goods and products from one country to another country but the Indian navy is for the protecting our country from domestic and international
threats and attacks.

In merchant navy you will earn a lot of money but in the Indian navy there is honor and respect for you and plus income is also good.

you have huge scope in merchant navy.merchant navy is non-combatant commercial fleet which deals with transporting cargo and occasionally,passengers,by sea.in merchant navy,you can work in three area ship,the deck,engine and saloon department.in the deck department,you can become captain,second officer,third officer,junior officer.in the engine department,you can become second engineer,third engineer,electrical officer,junior engineer.service department manages the kitchen,laundary and other service.
