Details about the IES entrance exam __________________________________ IES stands for Indian Engineering Service. IES Examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment of candidate in varies government Services. IES Examination is conducted once in a year. UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission Eligibility criteria for IES Exam:- >>Candidate should have completed BE/B.Tech in following stream from recognized university.
>>Candidate's Age should be in between 21 to 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination & there is relaxation in upper Age limit for reserve category candidates. >>Candidate appearing in the final year examination of above such program are also eligible to appear in IES Exam. Hi,
The IES exam is very tough and there will be heavy competition . so go for coaching institutes. There will be heavy syllabus for IES exam. In final year you can apply for IES exam. This exam will conduct in the month of May. The syllabus for IES exam is your core subjects so prepare your core subjects well then you can clear the exam easily and also go for coaching institutes. It is a 3 days exam. the exam consist both multiple choice questions and descriptive papers. You have to qualify in all the papers. Selection process: written test Interview Prepare the schedule and divide the topics while preparing for IES exam. first clear the tough subjects then after read simple subjects. All the best |

IES exam is conducted by the IES every year.
Eligibility criteria of IES:- Students with four year B.Tech degree can apply for this exam. Students with M.Sc degree in areas like electronics, radio physics, radio engineering or wireless communication can also apply. At the most you can give the exam for four times. Selection procedure includes written test and personality test. Written test pattern:- Paper I-(objective type) Part A: general english Part B: general studies Part II & III- (objective type) civil engineering/ mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ electronics and telecommunication engineering. Part IV & V: (descriptive type) civil engineering/ mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ electronics and telecommunication engineering. Total marks for written exam is 1000 marks. UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(UPSC) conducts IES(Indian Engineering Service) once every year for recruitment of young Engineers in the top technical post in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Telecommunication Dept. under Central Govt.
Only Graduate Engineers having B.Tech. Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 year with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate, is eligible to apply for IES. The candidate must be an Indian National and the final year B.Tech. exam appearing candidate is also eligible for IES. Irrespective of B.Tech. Graduate from any stream but has to write IES exam out of one subject branch from Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Telecommunication. The Union Public Service commission (UPSC) conducts the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination every year to recruit Grade IV officers to be posted in the Planning Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Planning Board, National Sample Survey and other Allied Offices where experts in Economics and Statistics are required.

IES stands Indian Engineering Service. This exam conducted by the upsc twice in a year. IES exam is a one of the civil service exam. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Nationality: the candidate should be a citizen of india. Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering from any recognized university. There is no minimum percentage required to eligible for this exam. Age limit: the candidate minimum age limit is 21 years. Maximum age limit is 30 years. Relaxation: OBC: 3 years SC/ST: 5 years Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
