Hello Friend.........

IES entrance test or Indian Engineering Services entrance exam is designed for recruitment of engineers in government services. IES exam is conducted once every year by UPSC. Examination notifications are published in major newspaper and employment news in January / February and exam is conducted in June/ July every year.

IES Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidate should be in age group 21-30 years on the first day of august of the year of examination.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidate should be engineering graduate. However, candidates studying in last semester of engineering can also appear in entrance test but they are required to produce the proof of passing engineering degree.
For some selected posts of engineering services, candidates who are holding MSc degree in wireless communications, electronics, radio physics & radio engineering.

IES Exam Selection Procedure:

Entrance test consists of two parts :

Written Exam: there will be 5 papers in written test of 200 marks each as follows:

Paper 1: General Ability Test (General Studies and General English), this will be objective type test & mandatory for each applicant.

Paper 2 & 3: Paper 2 & 3 will be objective type test of 200 marks each based on core engineering subjects (candidate core branch of engineering degree.) The subject comes under these papers are civil engineering / mechanical engg. / electrical engg. / electronics & telecommunication engg.

Paper 4 & 5: paper 4 and 5 will be subjective tests of 200 marks each on core engineering subjects engineering / mechanical engg. / electrical engg. / electronics & telecommunication engg.

Personality Interview: candidates qualified in written test will be called for personal interview where their personality will be judged, the personality interview will be of 200 marks.

Students with M.Sc degree in areas like electronics, radio physics, radio engineering or wireless communication can also apply.

Selection procedure includes written test and personality test.

Written test pattern:-

Paper I-(objective type)
Part A: general english
Part B: general studies

Part II & III- (objective type)
civil engineering/ mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Part IV & V: (descriptive type)
civil engineering/ mechanical engineering/ electrical engineering/ electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Total marks for written exam is 1000 marks.

IES - INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC once every year for appointment to the top technical post in the Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication dept. under Central Govt.

The candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree in Engineering or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

The selection of IES is through written exam basing on the subject of Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Telecommunication followed by personal interview.

Hai,

IES(Indian Engineering Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) one time in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete engineering graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Percentage is not required to apply this exam and final semister appearing may also eligible for this exam.

The candidate should not have any backlogs in your previous examination.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.


Age criteria:-

The candidates age should not be lessthan 21 years and should not be morethan 30 years,

3 years upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.


Selection process is given below:

Civil services preliminary examination,

Civil services main exam,

Personal interview.

Hai....

IES stands for INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC one time in a year.To recruit the candidates in engineering department.

The candidates who are completed there engineering course are equivalent course from a recognized university of india that candidates are applicable and their is no percentage of marks required in IES exam.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IES EXAM:

Graduate students are eligible

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years

Upper age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years.

5 years for SC/St candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india

* The Exam is conducted by the seven IITs and the Indian Institute of Science , Bangalore every year.

The eligibility criteria required to be fulfilled by a candidate are :

--> You must have completed your Engineering in any of the following streams like :

a) Civil Engineering b) Mechanical Engineering

c) Electronics & Electrical Engineering

d) Electronics & Communication Engineering

--> Your age must lie in between 21-30 years.

--> There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The acronym for IES is Indian Engineering Services.

Indian Engineering Services are the civil services that meet the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India.

IES officers are selected by the union government on the recommendations made by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

A combined four-stage competitive examination (comprising six tests), called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services.

The eligibility criteria required for the IES examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in Engineering(B.E./B.Tech) from any accredited college or university; or,

* Completion of post-graduation in Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering from any recognized university.

IES stands for the Indian Engineering Service which is conducted to meet the requirement of technical and managerial candidates. The exam is conducted on annual basis by the Union Public Service Commission.

On the basis of recommendation by the UPSC, the candidates are selected. A competitive exam called Engineering Service Exam is conducted. It is conducted as one of the most difficult entrance exams in India.
