I have completed my BE (CS). I want to go for the higher studies. For that I need the detailed information about the exam pattern, sylabus,etc,. Please do the needfull.. Thank you..

yeah it's the good thinking ;please appear for GATE to do M.tech
so,do not late now GATE form available from GATE offices and canada bank
and you can also do form fill up in on line www.iitm.com

if you do good score in GATE then you get good colleges like IIT,NIT and gove.college also then you can also get scholarship/month

after complete your M.tech you can also do P.hd or M.phil

if you interest for MBA then you have to appear exam like CAT,MAT..........etc

Be more specific............

As you have completed your BE in CS you can try for the following entrance exams :-

1) If you have interest to go for M.Tech then sit for GATE exam.

GATE paper contains 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
I) Q.1 to Q.25: Will carry one mark each (sub-total 25 marks).
Negative Marks :- 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

II) Q.26 to Q.55: Will carry two marks each (sub-total 60 marks)
Negative Marks :- 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

III) Q.48 through Q.51 (2 pairs) will be common data questions. Each question will carry two marks
Negative Marks :- 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

IV) Question pairs (Q.52, Q.53) and (Q.54, Q.55) will be linked answer questions.
The answer to the second question of the last two pairs will depend on the answer to the first question of the pair.
If the first question in the linked pair is wrongly answered or is un-attempted, then the answer to the second question in the pair will not be evaluated. Each question will carry two marks
There will be negative marks only for wrong answer to the first question of the linked answer question pair i.e.

for Q.52 and Q.54, 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking for Q.53 and Q.55.

V) Q.56 to Q.60 : From General Aptitude (GA) will carry one mark each (sub-total 5 marks).
Negative Marks :- 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

VI) Q.61 to Q.65 : From GA will carry two marks each (sub-total 10 marks)
Negative Marks :- 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

2) If you want to go for MBA then you can sit for MAT,CAT,XAT etc.

you better do CCNA course side by side, prepare well for that, then only you can clear the exam, course cost around 25000..... If you are Interested in teaching profession you can go in ME computer engineering or you can go for MBA in information , this will be more help full, The degree will absolutely help you advance your career, and will make you more capable to handle management positions like CIO or CTO.

If you Have more money then you can do your MS in foreign country.
