i am doing MSc IT correspondence , am i elegible for GATE?

You are eligible to give the GATE exam if your in the pre-final, final year of the course. You are also eligible if you have completed the course. The scores for GATE exam are valid for two years so if you give the exam in the pre-final year you can use the same score to get admission after you complete your course.

Yes you are eligible for GATE.Weather M.sc through regular or coresspondance you are eligible for appearing to GATE.

Check out the eligibility criteria for GATE 2010 from here- http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2010_...ligibility.php, it will make you sure about it.

Gate only needs masters qualified students, you can apply.

Yes you are eligible for GATE exams because you have completed your master's degree.

Its not matter that you have done your M.sc IT course regular or correspondence, if you have completed your master course then you are eligible for appear in GATE exams.

Gate exam requires only an engineering degree or a master degree in science subject . They do not consider whether a degree is gained from correspondence course or reguler one. However you have to complete your degree in all respects till the time of admission.

Eligibility for GATE exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in fields like- Engineering/technology/Architecture
or
2.Candidate must have complete the masters in fields like- M.Sc/MBA/MCA etc..

3.No age limit..

4.No number of attempt restriction..

5.Candidate can appear in GATE exam during final year of graduation..

As you have complete the M.sc in IT then you are surely eligible for GATE exam...

I am a Second Year M.Sc in chemistry student what will be syllabus for gate exam

i have completed my cource in M.SC IT i have a backlog in 1st sam but other sem are clear m i eligble for gate exam

I have completed BSC chemistry with 55%. Due to family circumstances i could not continue my studies and started working in call centre. I am aged 28 . Now I want to do either MSC computer Science or MSC Information technology. Is it possible. Due to my financial condiiton only i could not continue my studies. Now I can afford to spend and I would like to pursue my studies. Is it possible . please guide me
