Why not you are eligible to apply for this examination . If you are completed graduate degree then definitely you are eligible to apply for this examination . You can apply the Bank PO examination through IBPS Exam OR SBI PO Examination .

Probationary Officer ::

-->> You must have a graduate degree with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University .
-->> You must have a minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years .

IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel selection and this examination is conducted for recruitment of 19 Public Sector banks .

IBPS Probationary Officer ::

Applicant having the minimum education qualification is completed graduate degree from any course in reputed Institution or equivalent qualification and the course like B.Sc , B.C.A , B.E , B.D.S , B.A .... any degree holder can apply for this entrance examination and there is no minimum marks required for this examination .

Applicant should have a minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is applicable for this examination . 5 years for SC/ST , 3 years for OBC , 5 years for Ex-Service men .

As you are a Medical Student, after completion of Graduation you can apply for P.O.(Probationary Officer) job in Bank.

P.O. exam for Bank is usually conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks.

Eligibility for P.O. Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National.
-Should have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-Should be a computer literate one.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview.

Dear friend to filling the exam for the PO jobs the candidate must have passed his graduation from any recognized university..
The candidate age should be above from 18 years.

After completing your graduation you can apply for the IBPS PO exam and after appearing on exam you can apply for the job in both govt. as well private sector banks....

Bank P.O exam is conducted by State bank of India.

ELIGIBILITY FOR BANK P.O EXAM:-
> Pass graduation with any stream with minimum 50% marks from recognized University.
> You age should be above 21 year and below 30 year.
> The candidate must be citizen of India.

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Group Discussion

i had done my Bsc in Hospitality Mgt and waiting for my degree . Am i eligible for po entrance exam conducted by IBPS ?

Any graduation degree holder can apply for the Bank PO exam even if he belongs to the medical stream. It does not matter whether you have done BDS, MBBS, B.Tech, BCA, BBA or anything else, the requirement is a graduation degree. Since you have that rest is not the issue. Feel free to apply for the Bank PO.


Bank PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS). You can appear for the exam next year. It has been concluded for the year. There are total of 19 Public Sector Banks that participate for the IBPS Bank PO exam.
