how can i join the indian navy?i am in b.tech third year,female,having a schedule caste certificate.

no in indian navy female candidate is not allowed that's why you can't apply for Indian Navy.


but don't worry you can apply for another job........but in ON- campus selection female candidate is allowed for sitting for job...

Yes, Female students can join indian navy after their graduation as Short Service Commission (SSC).

Your cadre will be Logistics, Pilot/Observer. Please keep a track for vacancy and take necessary action to join. All the best to you.

Hello Friend,

As a female candidate, you can only apply for SSC(Short Service Commision) after completing her graduation. Else this no other option is available for girls in Indian Navy. You can join any other job. You can choose your career in Civil Services.

Civil Services is a career field in which you have so many options where you can build your career. For this you should have to clear the entrance exam of civil services conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university with at least 60% marks.

2. Candidate must be citizen of India.
