How can I become an IPS officer? I am studying in 1st year B.A


iam studing in 1st year BA and my aim to become an IPS officer so what are steps i want to follow

Dear friend IPS stands for Indian Police Service.

For apply IPS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in

any stream from a recognized University.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a

recognized University.

Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.


Number of Attempts:-

General category candidates - 4 time

OBC category Candidates - 7 time

SC/ST category candidates - No limit.


Selection procedure :-

- Preliminary entrance exam

- Main entrance exam

- Interview

dear friend-
kindly make aim to study,,
firstly self study the course of preliminary exam along with the ba course,

and make sure that you have a good knowledge of current affairs,
for this daily read news paper" hindu",,
it will make your Englishman and current affairs knowledge better,,
also read magazine like-pratiyogita darpan,competition success review,,kurushetra,etc,,
kindly join a best coaching after completing ba,best coaching are vajiram and Ravi,rau ias,,
and then study thoroughly,,

Hi dear............

IPS exam stands for Indian Police Service exam which is conducted through UPSC , The interested candidates have to appear Civil Service Exam , there are certain eligibility criteria which are as follows..........

Educational Qualifications:

Any Graduate with minimum pass marks from recognized University can eligible to apply for this exam, The final year candidates those who are interested can also apply for this exam.

Height:

A Male Candidate must have minimum 165cm for General Category candidate

A Female Candidate must have minimum 150cm fir General Category Candidate

For SC/ST/OBC Male Candidate require minimum height 160cm and Female candidate require minimum height is 1405cm

Chest

Male Candidate require 84 cm,Expandable chest is 89cm
Female Candidate require 79cm and Expandable chest is 84cm

Age Limits:

A candidate must have attained minimum 21 years and not maximum 30 years .
For SC/ST candidates-21-35Years
OBC candidates-21-33Years.
