How many times in a year does CAT entrance exam happens? and what are the dates for CAT 2010 exam?

You can give it only once at a time in the month of November. Rest gd and other things goes till the end of April, admission in may.

CAT exam is held only once in a year for admission to MBA colleges like
IIMs.
To get admission to reputed college for MBA , you have to qualify in CAT or MAT or SNAP etc exam and then after you have to do well in GD & PI exam conducted by the college.
It will be better if you join a coaching classes like T.I.M.E or IMS for MBA as they provide study materials and easy tricks to solve the paper .Don't go for wrong answers as their is negative marking for each wrong answers.

The CAT 2010 vouchers can be obtained from selected Axis Bank branches between Monday, 30 August - Monday, 4 October 2010 for Rs. 1400
Testing window will be open from 27th oct. to 24th nov. 2010.

You will be your getting CAT score after 12th Jan.2011.

The CAT exam is conducted only once in a year.

The exams are conducted online from the past 2 years by a MNC called ProMetric.

To allow smooth examinations, it is scheduled to be held over a period of one month.

Each candidate gets a specified slot to appear for the exam.

The exam is generally held between the last weeks of October and November.
