What is the procedure followed for applying police inspector job after completion of B.E mechanical engineering course?


I have completed B.E IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING .i would like to apply for police inspector post.how can i apply for it? Can you please let me know the procedure which we need to follow for the same? It will be helpful if you can answer me back soon.

If you want to become a police officer than you should complete 12th and graduation. You can get selected through entrance exam that is conducted by the state police department and after selection candidate have to appear for the interview then for the medical examination. Age should not be less than 21 years. After graduation you can also appear for Assistant Commandant Examination.

As you have completed your Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering hence you are eligible to appear in the Assistant Commandant Exam or IAS Exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission to become police officer. You just prepare for IAS exam and the syllabus for Assistant Commandant Exam will be automatically get prepared.
