Which stream should an ECE holder should choose for M.Tech between EC and CE if working in a Software company? Experience in a Software company will help to make my career bright?


Hello sir, I have completed Electronics and Communication engineering and doing a job in a Software company. So, which stream should I choose for M.Tech between EC and CE? Will the experience in a Software company helps to make career bright?

First of all you have to decide about your career goals. If you want to make a career in software field, then M.Tech is not going to make any difference. You can carry on with your job.

If you are not interested in software and looking for a lecturer or academic job, then doing M.Tech in ECE will be a good option. Experience in software field will help you in the same field only.
