Re: Knowledge required for a job in Software companies?
Hi,
Here I would request you for some career guidance. I completed my engineering (electronics and communications) in June 2007 and have been regularly working since then. I have an experience of more than 36 months in Information Technology (IT). I am now interested in pursuing a post-graduation course because I think that being a mere graduate may not be as worthy as being a post graduate in our extremely competitive world. However I am unable to decide whether I should go for a full time MBA or an Executive MBA course. I hereby request you to help me decide this. Also which one among the two MBAs would be more beneficial for my career growth? Is it advisable specifically for me to do an Executive MBA from the IIM's or any other top institutes of our country than to do a regular MBA from an average MBA institute? Please assist me to take this crucial step that will enhance my career prospects. Hope to get a reply soon. |

Re: Knowledge required for a job in Software companies?
KNOWLEDGE NEEDED TO JOIN A SOFTWARE COMPANY As a fresher you have to be good in 3 different skills.. which are as follows... -> Aptitude Skill. -> Technical Skills. -> Communication Skill. If you can sharpen these 3 skills then am quite sure you will make it in any software companies.. -> To sharpen your aptitude skill, you have to work out problems daily by referring some good books like R.S.Agarwal which as shortcut methods to solve aptitudes. -> To sharpen your Technical skills, you must be good with your basics of C, C++ and the core subjects in your course. -> To sharpen your communication skills, you must converse in english daily and then be good in the basic grammar which helps you to form the proper sentence and put the right words for communication.. If you can sharpen these 3 skills then for sure you will end up in a good software company.. All the Best.. |
