What is the most effective and smart way for preparation for ias preliminary examnitaion ? Plz guide me accordingly.

Each one has their own style of preparing there are no perfect proven ways to success. So you have to explore your way. IAS preliminary examination is replaced with Civil Service aptitude test with effect from this 2011 academic year. In past, we used to select optional subject for prelims also but the new format don't need that all the aspirants will have common syllabus and common cutoff with this you can prove your own talent for the common syllabus, Already one exam has been conducted in this format, so you can find the sample question papers for the same. anyways I'll provide you the CSAT 2011 paper at the end of this post. now lets discuss some tips to get prepared for CSAT. As the name suggests it has a different paper in Multiple choice format questions with Aptitude,logical reasoning,Mathematics, English and etc., will be the topics. To prepare for this exam one has to be mentally very strong with alert mind and sharp brain. for this you have to practice a lot of aptitude papers. Not from one book but from everywhere. For all sections of this CSAT Exam you have to take special care in preparation. Practicing is very important for this exam though. if you can't prepare on your own you can take the help of best coaching centers available around us. Don't hesitate to take coaching it will help in various for you. Avoid some unnecessary things after starting your preparation so that you can completely concentrate on this exam. IAS(Indian Administrative Service) This is a very respective jobs in INDIA.For this job many student will try many times . For this exam candidate prepare hard and a good luck require to crack this exam. For this exam criteria:- *Candidate pass graduation in any stream *Age - 21 to 30 years age relaxation is based on govt. rules This exam is divided 2 parts 1)Preliminary exam 2)Final exam In Preliminary exam 2 papers will appear *General knowledge *Optional paper(Choose by candidate) Then if you qualify they call you for next interview. From Civil Service Examination 2011, Preliminary Examination would consist of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. The syllabus and pattern of the Preliminary Examination would be as under :
(Paper 1) (200 marks) - Duration : Two hrs. Current events of national and international importance History of India and Indian national movement Indian and World Geography- physical, social, economic geography of India and the world Indian Polity and governance – constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc. Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc. General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change-that donot require subject specialization General science. (Paper II) (200 marks) – Duration : Two hrs Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision making and problem solving |
