I have just gone to class 12th and as such would like to know when can i appear in entrance exams for NDA

Yes off course you could easily appear for the NDA examination. There are two exams of NDA conducted by UPSC in a year i.e NDA-I whose exam is conducted in the month of march and NDA-II whose exam is conducted in the month of August. the notification for these exam is in the month of april and september . but remember your age should be between 16.5-19 when you will join the academy. you could get the info on- www.upsc.gov.in

u can fill the form of nda in around may.
Depending on the u had u can fill the form
till then u can prepare for that.

there is two NDA wxams NDA-1 and NDA-2 ...now you have to fill the forms of NDA-2....this exam is held in month of august..

If you have completed +2 level of studies from a recognized board of studies, you are eligible for NDA exam. The minimum eligible age for the same is 16 1/2 years and maximum age limit is 19 years.
The important dates for the upcoming NDA examination are as follows
The last date for submission of application form will be 9th May 2011
examination is supposed to be held on 21st August 2011.
The application form will be available from the second week of the month of April.

As you have told that you are just going to 12th, you can attend this exam when you are appearing for the +2 exam.The other eligibility criteria which you must possess to write the exam are mentioned below:

NDA-National Defence Academy

Eligibility criteria:

The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate and must have not born before 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996 i.e the candidates must be 16 1/2-19 years of age.

For Army Wing:

The candidates must have finished their +2 with (10th,+2) pattern conducted by school education.

For Air Force and Naval Wings:

The candidates must have finished their 12th with (10th,+2) pattern conducted by school education and must have physics and mathematics as their subjects.

As far concerned with the physical standards the candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the exam.

The eligibility for NDA is 10+2.You can apply next year.It is conducted twice in a year.Your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19yrs.

ya of course you can apply for the NDA entrance exam after the 12th standard exam

the eligibility for the NDA is a pas in the 12th board exam from any of the recognized board with the age limit of the 16.5 years to 19 years for the general students and there is upper age limit for the obc , sc and st students
