I priya sharma is going to enter final year of graduation in microbiology and i m interested in joining army after my graduation. So what is the procedure of joining it.

You can apply for the Indian Army after the completion of your graduation through Combined defence service examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.
To apply for this examination you need the following eligibility criteria:

Education Qualification
For the CDS examination candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. For the Indian Air force and Navy candidate should have physics and maths at 10+2.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit

Indian Military Academy 19-23 Years

Air Force Academy 19-23 Years

Naval Academy 19-22 Years

Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

Sir, after graduation you have to appear for the CDS which is held twice in a year.

yes, you can join in Army after graduation in Microbiology.

to join in the Army after graduation in Microbiology, you have to give CDS exam.

eligibility criteria for CDS exam is

>> For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

Age limit:-

For Indian Military Academy age limit is 19-23 Years.

nationality:-

candidate should be an Indian.

Hello Priya,
If you are interested in joining Indian Army after graduation, you can definitely do so by qualifying the combined defense service exam conducted by union public service commission.
A graduate in any discipline may apply for the exam.
The examination is conducted for recruitment of candidate sin the following training academies:
Indian Military Academy
Naval Academy
Air Force Academy
Officers Training Academy

Being a girl candidate, you will have to apply for Officers Training Academy.
You must have attained the age of 19 years and must not be over 25 years to apply for the exam.
