Nice to See your Interest in Defense Services, And If you are Really Interested in defense and Interested to Join the Indian Army then please apply for the UPSC CDS Examination. CDS Stands for Combined Defense Services Examination and this examination was conducted by UPSC Twice in a year - CDS (I) and CDS (II).

>> After completing Graduation Candidates are eligible to apply for These Academy -

>> IMA
>> OTA
>> Naval Academy
>> Air - Force Academy.

And To Apply for IMA you need to complete your Graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognised University and your age should between 19 to 24 years.

Those who have passed the CDSE Examination are eligible to appear for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview and the medical examination.

The Notification of the examination was Published in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC Website Every year, The Schedule and Dates of Next year CDS Examination was already Available in the UPSC website, So please check the website for complete Information -

After graduation you can join indian army through CDS. This test is conducted twice in a year CDS-I & CDS-II.
If you want to go in air force then you can join air force academy.

After completion of graduation you want to join in defense..
For that you have to appear in exams like- CDSE, UES etc..

CDSE(Combined defense service exam):-

Eligibility criteria:-

For Indian military Academy:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..
*The candidates age should be in between-19-23 years.

For Naval Academy:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field..
*The candidates age should be in between 19-22 years.

For Air force:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade bu must have maths and physics in 12th..
*The age should be in between 19-23 years.

For UES:-
If you are from engineering field then you can apply for this scheme.
Eligibility criteria:-
*The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering field.
*The candidate must have secured 60% aggregate in graduation..
*The age should be in between 18-28 years.

These are eligibility criteria you have to fulfill to appear in any of these exam..
after clearing the exam they will call you for the SSB..

If you want to join Indian Army ,you have to go through CDS exam .The exam is conducted by UPCS twice in a year (CDS-I and CDS-II).

Hi,
I've cleared my entrance exam of CDS-1 2011 for OTA n waitng for SSB call letter... But i hve a two quires regarding my SSB......

1.) Whn i'l receive my call letter for SSB...
2.) I hve scored 48% percent marks in my final year of Bsc will i face any obstacle while interview as i've scored less marks in my final year... On what basis selection procedure depends... Because in Employment news it is clearly mention that for IMA/OTA education qualification should be as follows "A degree from a recognized University or equivalent".
I just want to knw that will they disqualify me on Percentage bassis or like air force they don't have percentage bar for OTA.Qualification Firmly depends on CDS entrance exam marks.....

After graduation you join INDIAN army at officer ranks. Your dream success for cds exam.It's exam conducted by upsc(union public service commission).
In this exam few defence services like as:-
1.Indian Military Academy
2.Air Force Academy
3.Naval Academy
4.Officers’ Training Academy.

All the papers are of objective type.
1.English:-100 marks
