want to know about form and date of IPS exam 2011???
online form if available or from where we can get form??

UPSC conducts Civil Services exam every year for IAS, IPS, IFS, etc.
Date of notification: 19-02-2011
Date of exam:12.06.2011
You can get the application form from post offices designated by UPSC or from the UPSC post office itself
for further details go to www.upsc.gov.in

The IPS examination is supposed to be conducted on 12th June 2011.
The last date of submitting application form is 21st March 2011. The Application form is available at the designated Post Offices and Head Post-Offices.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC under the name of UPSC Civil Services Exam which also includes other posts also.
The Examination form for UPSC CS Examination Prelims will be available from 19-2-2011 to 21-3-2011.
The examination will be held on 12-6-2011.
The forms will be available online as well as offline.
For offline forms visit GPO's and for online visit the official website of UPSC.
Offline form is available for Rs 20 only.

The IPS pre exam going to held on 12-06-2011. Date of notification is 19-02-2011. so details would be available on the following site after 19 February.

Hi ....Kindly help me to solve my query: Wanted to know that I have filled the civil servies exam form , and I also want to appear for IPS exam. Do I need to fill another form or this form is enough for both IAS and IPS????

• Apply offline by purchasing the application form from designated post offices throughout the country.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21.03.2011

Eligibility conditions:
Age limits: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August, 2011
The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the notice
Educational qualifications: Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification
Physical standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the regulations given in the appendix-III of rules for the civil services examination, 2011 published in the gazette of India extraordinary dated 19th February, 2011
Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as follows
General category (04); P.H. candidates belonging to general category (07); OBC (07); SC/ST/ (no limit)
