Dear Sir,

what is the qualification and parentage of marks for the Ias or ips exam. and what is the date of form found and where???

If You are Interested to become IAS/IPS Officer then you need to apply for the UPSC Civil Services examination. The examination was conducted by UPSC and Eligible candidates may apply for this examination Next year i.e on 2012.

Indian Administration Service (IAS) exam is conducted by upsc every year once.
Indian Administration Service has three phase of examination process,first is Preliminary exam (current affairs,Vocabulary,aptitude will be the syllabus),if you qualifies this exam,then only you can enter to Second phase of exam i.e Main exam (Geography,History etc syllabus,all the question should answer in eassy type),if you crack this exam,then only you can enter to third phase exam i.e is Interview (Communication skill testing).After overcoming all this exam,you will be appointed as Asst IAS officer.

Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:
Education qualification:
Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university (Pass percentage is sufficient)
Age limit:
Age should be between 21 to 30 year

Indian Engineering Service(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
Exam will held on 20th May 2012.

Indian Engineering Service (Main Exam) notification for this year:
Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.
Yet notification details,were not update,i hope they will be updating notification after preliminary exams.

Qualification for IAS Exam,
Graduation from any field with atleast 55% marks.
Candidate have to pay a fee of Rs. 50.00 (Rupees Fifty only) to the Commission through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of requisite denomination.

FOR IPS:-

Eligibility for IAS examination
>> Graduation degree from any recognized university in any stream.

>> No percentage bar.

>> Age limit is between 21 to 30 years.

u should be a graduation degree holder from a recognized college of INDIA..within the age limit of 21-30 years and you have a maximum of 4 attempts if you are from the general category..

for SC/ST the maximum age limit is 35 years

for OBC the maximum age limit is 33 years..

Hello,

The examination for the post of IAS and IPS officer is conducted UPSC.The exam is conducted in three steps-
1)Preliminary Examination
2)Main Examination
3)Personal Interview.

To apply for the examination the candidates should has the following qualification:-
1)The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university.
2)Candidate has the age between 21-30 years of age.
Age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years are given to OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively.

The notification regarding this examination will come out in next year in the month of February.The notification will come out in all the leading dailies and the rozgar samachar.

If you want to apply for IAS and IPS you have to be graduate with any one subject as compulsory such as
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.

AGE DETAIL
21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories ).

There is no bar in term of percentage.

>> According to the eligibility given by UPSC for civil services examination,only graduation degree from any recognized university is required.

>> Also a candidate must be fulfill age limit criteria. According to this eligibility criteria, Candidate having age between 21 to 30 year is allowed to take part in civil services examination. Age relaxation is given to SC,ST (5 years each) and OBC candidates (3 years).

>> In term of no. of attempts, only 4 attempts is given to general candidates whereas 7 attempts is given to OBC and no limit for SC, ST candidates.

IPS and IAS exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) when positions are vacant.

Educational qualification:-One should hold a degree of any recognized university. He/She should be an Indian.

Age Limit: - 21 years to 30 years.

Attemptsfor both cases)

For General - 4 times
For SC/ST - No limit
For OBC - 7 tines

sir i have complete graduation(b.com) from mjpru bareilly with 45percent in grduation(b.com) in general category i want to broke ias and ips examination so plz give me about ias and ips (last date of forms . eligibility of it )

Hi

Following is the eligibility to appear for Civil service exam conducted by UPSC

You should be Indian
You should be graduate from recognized college or institute
your age should be 21-30
relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC

There is not particular cut off in Civil Services Examination.
Exams are held in three stages

Primary stage is screening exam followed by mains. Those who qualify mains have to appear for interview

After interview a merit list is prepared and based on merit list IAS, IPS , IFS are designated.
