Age limit: General category student:- 21-30 years. OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years. SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years. No. Attempt: General - max. 4 OBC - max. 7. SC/ST - No limit. Exam Pattern: Preliminary Exam. Main Exam Interview Physical Requirement: Height – Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. For apply IPS exam candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.
Because for apply IPS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS mean's Indian Police Service,IPS entrance exam.is conducted by UPSC every year.
Eligibility:- 1.Educational Qualification:- Any Graduate from the recognized University can write UPSC conducted IPS entrance exam. Age: General 21-30 years, OBC:21-33 years, S/C S/T:21-35 years. Candidates are to clear CSAT (Preliminary)exam.After that they are to clear Main exam. Attempts: General: 7 chances, OBC: 9 chances, S/C S/T: No limit. I have the solution for your problem it is. 1.The minimum educational qualification for IPS post is your graduation. 2.You must have completed your graduation course in any the field. 3.You must be the citizen of India. 4.Your age must be in between 21-30 years. 5.And your height must be 165 cms or above for men and 150 cms or above for women. Few things regarding IPS Examination are mentioned below: # Only bachelor degree holders are eligible. # Candidate in the final year of bachelor degree can also apply. # Prescribed age limit for IPS Examination is 20-30 years. However, there is provision of age relaxation for reserved categories which are as follows: * By 3 years for OBC category. * By 10 years for SC/ST category. * By 5 years for Exservice-men # Prescribed permissible number of attempts are as follows: * OBC category have only seven attempts. * UR category have only four attempts. * SC/ST category can appear for examination as many times as they wishes. # Required height by male is 165 cm and by female is 150 cm. However, there is relaxation fixed for SC and ST category is by five centimeters. |

Respected sir, I have a some ambiguity about IPS.a person who holder B.sc (physical education) or B.P.Ed degree certificate from any govt recognised University. He/She can apply for UPSC IPS post?
