IPS stands for Indian Police Services and to become IPS Officer, you have to complete your Graduation first, If you are pursuing your final year degree course then also you are eligible for this examination. This exam is highly competitive, around 4 lakh students appear for it every year. Although vacancies are very few, only 900 are selected. Your chances of getting IPS depends on your rank. Generally, top rank within 150-250 gets IPS branch.

The selection rate of this examination very less as compared to other examination, You need to work very hard to cracked this examination, at least 1-2 year practice is needed to cracked this examination. You can not cracked this examination in first attempt(if you don't prepared for this examination before).

Notification of CSE(Civil services examination) is going to be published soon in the month of February next year and eligible candidates may fill the application form online from the official website. The application form available in 2 parts and you have to fill both the parts completely.

To apply for this examination you have to fulfill the mentioned criteria:

=> You have to complete your graduate degree course in any discipline
=> Appearing final year candidates also apply for CSE Provisionally.
=> Age should between 21 to 30 years
=> You must in the age group 21-30 yrs (relaxation for reserved category). Number of attempts are also limited, 4 for general, 6 for OBC, while SC/ST no limit.

If you satisfied the criteria then you can apply for Next year Civil services examination.
