What is the procedure followed for getting admission in automobile diploma 2nd year? It will be really helpful if you can guide me with the complete steps whic we have to follow. Hoping that I will get the answer soon as possible. Thank you!

You can only apply for direct admission in second year of diploma course, if you have passed your intermediate exams from any affiliated board. First of all you have to appear in the LEET exam. After that you have to participate in the counselling. Then you have to visit the institute as per your counselling result. Here you have to complete the admission process.

To get admission in Diploma Automobile Engineering course, you should have passed 10th standard or equivalent examinations with minimum aggregate of 40% marks from a Government recognised university. The duration of Diploma Automobile Engineering course is 3 years for 10th standard passed candidates.

Admissions in Diploma Automobile Engineering course are generally offered in first year of the course through State level entrance examination or Centralised Admission Procedure. Some colleges also offer direct admission in Diploma course on basis of your 10th standard board examination marks.

Only candidates who have passed ITI course or 12th standard in Vocational stream from a Government recognised board/ institute are eligible to get direct admission in 2nd year of Diploma Automobile Engineering course through Lateral Entry admission process. So, if you have passed ITI course or 12th standard in Vocational stream, you are eligible to get admission in 2nd year of Diploma Automobile Engineering course.
