Hi I am Amit Pandey. My Father is an Ex-Navy. My date of birth is 17th May 1992. I am studying in class 12th with a C.B.S.E. Pattern. Am I eligible for an NDA? If yes, when should I fill a form for the same and when will the exam schedule? And also suggest me for the entrance in Defence.

you can appear in NDA after completion of your 12th..

so, first complete your 12th , then you can appear in NDA exam..

to be eligible for NDA exam you need to pass 12th with 50% marks in aggregate.so you can fill the form for NDA only when you clear the exam of 12th.NDA exams are held twice in a year.so do not worry about for the eligibility.study hard to get good marks in 12th along with that prepare for NDA exam.

It depends on you that when you want to give the exam for NDA because you are eligible for that till the age of 19 years.

According to me you should give while you are preparing for your 12th d NDA exam consisits of two papers i.e. of maths and english.

So if you are touch of maths then there will be no difficulty for you for solving that questions.

yes, you are eligible for the NDA exams,

for the NDA exam the age should be between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

and the minimum qualifiaction is 12th with mathmatics is one of the copulasary subjects.

you can fill up the Nda form after 12th...and you must be within the age limits prescribed by upsc...for more details see...http://www.upsc.gov.in

You are eligible for the NDA 2011 and the form would be available in the month of OCT. The last date to apply lies generally in the 2nd weeek of of Nov.

To join National Defence Academy, you will need to write NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam conducted by UPSC.
The minimum eligibility to write the exam is 10+2 or equivalent examination passed conducted by a state education board or a university.
The maximum age limit to be eligible to write the exam is 19 years.
The advertisemnt for the exam is published generally in the month of October in all leading newspaper including Employment News.
You must visit the official website of UPSC to keep yourself updated regarding examination dates and other informations.

As in this month the NDA written exam has conducted then you can try for next year session, & form will come to end of this year, so kindly fill the form & take well preparation for it.

In written exam science section is covered by your +2 syllabus, apart from it you should know the current affairs as well as general knowledge.

& after completion of written exam , you will be called for SSB, which is of 7 days test .
In these days you will face group discussion, mental ability test,interview,physical test etc.

& after this SSB , you will be selected for NDA.

i think you are not eligible for writing NDA exam. because you will be completing 19 years as on 30 aug 2010.

for eligibility for writing NDA exam for NDA II it was
you should be in between
16.1/2- 19 years as on 01.07.2011

but you will cross the 19 years..
so sorry for that..

well friend,

UPSC forms are available in the GPO's all the time,

but the thing is forms accepting criteria for UPSC for particular department would be closed at that time.

and sending your forms after that it might get rejected because the registration

number or code number of that forms are only valid for certain period of time.

yes you can apply it while studying so it will be benefited to you to know the exam pattern though you will not be qualified for that because it require minimum 12th pass
so after completing your class 12th, u can apply it for finally and can accept good result because you have already applied it before

Hi,

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1992 and not later than 1st January, 1995 are eligible.
So you are not eligible as mentioned in the age criteria.

how should we study for NDA?

Dear friend,

For NDA You can apply twice in a year

While studying in 12th you can apply in the month of March.

After completing 12th you can apply in the month of October.

how are the training has?

Absolutely 10+2 appearing and passout students are eligible for NDA examination for which minimum educational qualification is be 10+2 passout with any of the stream.

Its your wish to apply for the exam while appearing in 10+2 or after passing.

Yes you can apply on both the occasions.

The below are the eligibility criteria

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 cadet entry scheme of the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

1.you must have complete your 12th with PCM..
2.your age should be in between 16-19 years..
3.you must be physically fit..
According to your date of birth you have not reach 19 yet..
so, you can apply for NDA..
The exam is generally conducted in month of April and august..

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is conducted by UPSC every year for the admissions into Indian defence section like
1)Army
2)Navy
3)Air force
The applications are invited through online only. It involves two parts. In part 1 registration you have to enter your details. After completion of part 1 next is payment of fee either through online or by DD. After payment of fee, next is part 2 registration which involves upload of your photo and signation. By this your registration for NDA is completed.
