I failed in 10th std but I passed my B.A.history in annamalai university.am I eligible for government job? Can you please let me know what is the procedure which I need to follow to apply for the job? Will 10th standard certificate be mandatory?

If you don't pass 10th then all your later qualification will be void. During document verification for government jobs your all the mark sheets will be verified and then only you will be allowed to join.

10th standard is the most important stage and if you are not declared passed by board then surely it will create issues. You can try open schooling to clear exams if you are failed.

No, you are not eligible to apply for the government jobs. 10th certificate is mandatory while applying for the job. When you fill the form at that time you will be asked to fill the percentage, date of passing & board. Let say you apply for the same & reached to face interview. Your all the documents will be verified & once they come to know you are a failed candidate of class 10th, you will be rejected on the spot. Only those candidates are allowed to face the exam who have completed their academic year without failing. So better to give 10th from private school & pass it.
