You are in B.Com 1st year so you are not eligible for IBPS exam. After completion of B.Com degree, you can apply for IBPS exam.

IBPS stand for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selections. IBPS examination is conducted for the recruitment in the different public sectors banks. To appear in IBPS you need following criteria :

Eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk exam :-

1) Pass the graduation degree in any discipline from a recognize University.
2) The age must be between 20 to 28 years for the clerk post.

Eligibility criteria for IBPS PO exam:-

1) Candidate should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Doesn't require any kind of percentage marks in graduation degree.
2) Candidate's minimum age should between 21 to 30 years.

In fact you are not eligible to apply for the Bank Exams through IBPS. Since Only the candidates who have completed their graduation from the recognized University are only eligible to apply for IBPS Exams.

But you must remember that there is a Chance to apply for IBPS Exams being a Final year of graduation. And we also give you the clear Explanation for this that is Final year candidates have a chance to submit the Original documents at the time of Interview.

Yes, you can apply for this IBPS Recruitments after completion of your B.Com Degree. B.Com. Since you are still pursuing 1st year of B.Com, you are not eligible to apply for any IBPS Recruitment with the mentioned qualification. But you are eligible to apply for IBPS recruitments after completion of Bachelor Degree (B.Com) and candidates pursuing their Final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for IBPS Recruitments.
