How to prepare for Tax Inspector post through SSC exam?

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam for various posts in ministries of government of India like Custom tax inspector, Income tax inspector, Divisional accountant, Central Excise inspector etc.

It conducts the exam through three levels.

Tier I - General awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, English.

Tier II - Quantitative abilities, English.

Tier III - Interview/ computer proficiency test or skill test.

The candidates who qualify in the Tier I will be eligible to write Tier II exam and the candidates who qualify in the Tier II exam are selected for Interview round.

PREPARATION TIPS :

* Read newspapers in order to get fluency over English subject.

* It also helps the candidates to know in and around happenings across the nations.

* Revise previous classes grammar books to get thorough with the basics.

* Be thorough with the syllabus and do not leave any topic.

* Focus more on the weaker areas of the subjects.

* Prepare a own formula book to revise during exam time.

* Maintain proper diet during preparation time.

* Be innovative and creative in the exams.

* Prepare your own techniques for the problem solving questions.

* Practice more number of previous years question papers to get idea about the exam pattern.

* As time is also important factor, write more number of mock tests.

* Learn short-cuts, tricks and memory methods to solve the problems in ease and efficient manner.

* Self assessment is best method to know about your preparation.

* Last but not least be confident about yourself that you are going to clear the exam.
