I am student of graduation final for MU university but one eye is 6/6 but second eye is 6/12 or nothing problem. Can I apply for income tax inspector post for SSC? Please tell me the answer?

Physical Requirement for the post of Income Tax Inspector:

Basically there is no certain physical requirement is needed for the post of Income Tax Inspector. But there is a certain physical requirement or standards needed for other posts. As there is no certain standards required for the post of SSC Income Tax Inspector, you may apply for this post. And here are the other standards required for other posts.

Here are the Vision Standards.

Eye-Sight: (With or Without Glasses)

>> Distant Vision : 6/6 in One and 6/9 in the Other Eye

>> Near Vision : 0.6 in One Eye and 0.8 in the Other Eye

Physical criteria for the post of income tax inspector:-

1. Inspector of Central Excise/Preventive Officer (Male candidates)
Height - 157.5 cms
Chest - 81 cms
Physical Test - Walking - 1600 meters in 15 minutes
Cycling - 8 Km in 30 minutes

2. Inspector of Central Excise/Preventive Officer (Lady Candidates)
Height - 152 cms
Weight - 48 Kg
Physical Test -Walking - 1 km in 20 minutes
Cycling - 3 km in 20 minutes

One eyed person is eligibe for it inspector and dept of excise and other post of CGL or not pls explain
