I am reading in 12 commerce and I take economic. I want a job after 12. What graduation should I do for a bank job? Can someone please give me the details on the same? It will be really helpful if you can provide me with the details on the same. Thank you!

Yes there are few opportunities after 12th to get government jobs but you have to qualify for entrance examination such as SSC CHSLE, RRB TTE, Indian Army etc.

To appear for banking recruitment entrance examination the candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible.

The minimum qualification required for bank job is Bachelor's degree. You can not apply for any bank job like Clerk or PO without pursuing bachelor's degree. You can level apply for bachelor's degree course and in final year of bachelor's degree, you can apply for IBPS Clerk and PO exam.

At senior secondary level, you can apply for following government job exam:

1. SSC CHSL exam.

2. RRB Group D and ALP exam.

3. IB Security Assistant exam.

The age limit for exam is 18-30 years.

As far as you are concerned about the government job options after your Class 12th then it is as below :-

I) You can join NDA ( National Defense Academy ) to be a commissioned officer in Indian Army by qualifying NDA entrance examination.

II) You can become lower divisional clerk in various government sectors by qualifying SSC CHSL examination.

Apart from above mentioned jobs you can have the options of group D jobs in Indian Railways and other government sectors depending upon the vacancies. Also, you can join defense sector as a tradesmen, clerk, etc. .

Also, as far as you are concerned about the stream to be opted for graduation degree course then for your information I would like to let you know that you can go for any stream as for your strength and interest as for banking sector jobs there is no requirement of a particular subject at any stage of academics.

You can go for any of the stream in graduation if you are interested in bank job.
There is no any particular stream required.
Arts, Science, Commerce, BBA, BCA, B.Tech. etc. any of the stream is allowed. No any particular stream required.
Age should be- 21 years to 30 years.
But after completing graduation only you are eligible to get job in bank.

To apply for a government job after completion of your 12th standard with Commerce stream, you have to check the posts which have vacancies for 12th standard candidates. It is best to pursue graduation course to find many job opportunities in government sector. To get job in banking sector for the post of Clerk and Probationary Officer you have to appear and qualify in entrance examination conducted by IBPS and SBI.

First thing I would like to let you know is that the minimum education required for getting bank job in nationalized bank of India is a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

So, as mentioned above being a student of Class 12th in Commerce stream you first need to complete your graduation degree course without worrying about the stream to be opted for same degree to be eligible for banking jobs.

Once you completed your graduation degree you will be eligible for appearing in bank examinations such as IBPS bank examination or SBI bank examination for recruitment as bank clerk or bank probationary officer as per your educational qualification but you must satisfy other requirements too.
